College Visits at Milton

Milton High School hosts VIRTUAL college visits on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the extended block of 2nd period (formerly known as Advisement). All virtual visits will be from 10:20-10:40 AM. Students do not need to leave the classroom to attend; they can put in headphones and attend without the need to interrupt their academic schedule. Beginning in the 2024-2025 SY, Milton Counseling is offering a limited number of in-person college visits for our most popular colleges (UGA, GT, GSU, etc.). You must register for ALL college visits, in-person or virtual, via Naviance.

To sign up for a College Visit, follow the instructions below:

  1. Log in to ClassLink
  2. Search "Naviance" on the search bar at the top
  3. Click on the blue/green "Naviance-Stu" Application
  4. Once the homepage is loaded, click "Colleges" on the top bar
  5. Click on "College Visits" under "Research Colleges"
  6. Click "Register Now" beside a listed visit to register

​College Visits Outside of Milton

Students also have the ability to schedule in-person college visits through the websites of their prospective colleges. You can research these opportunities directly on the college's website.

Fulton County allows student six excused absences per year for students attending in-person college visits. You must email proof of your visit to our Attendance Office. Reach out to Ms. Luther via email at LutherK@fultonschools.org
