Seniors (Cohort 2027) Classroom Lesson & Required Task

Counselors visited 12th Grade Government and Econ classes on August 27 to deliver a classroom lesson and completed required activities. Letters of Recommendation (LOR):

If you are in need of a Counselor or Teacher LOR for your college applications, please view the instructions here: 

Cohort 2027 Letter of Recommendation Instructions

A Senior Brag Sheet must be completed in order to receive a Counselor LOR. Students must TYPE their responses and either email or print/deliver to their assigned counselor. Counselors WILL NOT write you a letter without a Senior Brag Sheet on file. Students must TYPE their responses and either email or print/deliver to their assigned counselor by September 15, 2026.

Important dates:

• September 1, 2026: Counselors BEGIN writing LORs. We will not write any letters before this date.
• September 15, 2026: Senior Brag Sheet is DUE for all students who will need a letter for the 2026-2027 SY.

Senior Parent Night

We hosted our Senior Parent Night on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. The Counseling Department presented all the information needed for a successful Senior year, including Graduation Requirements, SAT/ACT Testing, Post-secondary Options, Applying to College, HOPE/Zell Miller Grants/Scholarships, and Letters of Recommendation.
